By combining iron and titanium, this alloy serves as a powerful <strong>deoxidizer and stabilizer<\/strong>, ensuring that the final metal products meet the highest standards of strength, corrosion resistance, and durability. It is also used for control of carbon and nitrogen content in finished steel.<\/p><p>At <strong>SMS Metals Pvt. Ltd.<\/strong>, we provide premium-grade Ferro Titanium tailored for high-precision industrial applications, ranging from aerospace engineering to automotive manufacturing.<\/p><p>Titanium has a lower density (approx. 4.5 gms\/cc) than steel and burns in normal air at temperature lower than its melting point. Thus, use of Titanium metal yields poor recoveries in steel.<\/p><p>FeTi has a density higher than elemental Titanium. In alloy form the tendency of Titanium to burn in normal air is also inhibited. Additionally, FeTi70 has a melting point of 1100 ~ 1150 C which results in rapid dissolution of the alloy once it added to molten steel.
